Ron Mueller Ron was born in Brazil. He grew up in what is now Flint River State Park in Southeast Iowa. The 170-year-old house Ron lived in is built into a hillside. It faces a 125-foot high cliff towering over the little Flint River. The house and the land talked to him about; the passing of time, the struggle to conquer the land, the struggles people faced and the wonder of nature. He graduated from Burlington High School. His journey to college was interrupted by the Vietnam War. He spent six years in the US Navy. He saw duty in Vietnam. He also received training as a Electronics Technician and a Nuclear Reactor Operator. He toured Europe on the Hydrofoil Tucumcari. The University of South Florida and a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering with specialty in Process Control was the next achievement. It was in school where he met and married the woman of his life and to this day she is still his sweet heart. He is the proud father of three children and now three grandchildren. He also considers his wife’s three younger brothers who they raised as his children. All treasures in his life. His professional career has been with Procter and Gamble. He has traveled extensively around the world. He has been awarded the Diamond Award in Manufacturing Excellence. He is proud to have maintained a Professional Engineering license for his entire career.
